A new bill in IA is looking to replace school nurses with athletic trainers. The rationale is that it’s hard for rural schools to hire nurses. Imagine if the roles were reversed, would ATs be supporting this? @IowaATSociety

I was in DC in March 2023 to support this bill when it was first introduced. I am beyond ecstatic that it was signed unanimously and will provide a grant for schools to increase their access to AEDs and bystander CPR training. @DefibtechLLC @OneShotFndtn @In_A_Heartbeat_
