@phildezar @LindManny @NotFarLeftAtAll Like I said in the thread it’s a stupid design to block off staircases. Sometimes to do with fire. Lightweight blocks weren’t even around when this house was built.

@Boris417197813 @LindManny @NotFarLeftAtAll The joists run front to back with the landing being trimmed and hung. You wouldn’t have party wall to party wall joist runs with a staircase splitting the run. The low density block build up against the stringer is a shitty concept used in 90s new builds.

Didn’t NHS workers go on strike after spending covid doing tik tok dances? Thats after everyone stood at their doorstep for a year clapping them?
It’s wild how farmers worth £Ms can threaten to withhold food, so as not to a pay tax - we all pay - and people applaud them. But when nurses strike for a fair wage and safer NHS, they’re labelled as greedy. How’s that make any freaking sense?
