This enables precise monitoring of authorized practices and the detection of anomalies, such as determining whether the logbooks have been properly filled. 🌊 Anticipating and Targeting Inspections: At CLS, we help authorities reduce costs and actively combat IUU fishing by anticipating practices rather than reacting to them. Cette avancée a été réalisée dans le cadre du projet #PROMPT mené par l'@Ifremer_fr et financé par France Filière Pêche. Grâce aux collaborations avec ATLANTIC TAGGING BLUEFIN TUNA et le club de pêche de Bourgenay, le marquage de thons rouges joue un rôle clé dans l’étude de leurs déplacements, migrations et habitats. 📊 En collectant des données à partir de capteurs de lumière et de température, cette balise a fourni des informations cruciales pour les chercheurs. Gil Denis, Président de @AmisCiteEspace organisait cet évènement rassemblant plus 350 participants, passionnés du spatial ou néophytes en quête de culture spatiale dans ce lieu emblématique qu’est la @CiteEspace à #Toulouse. ✅ Après une première partie générale introduite par Gil Denis sur @CopernicusEU, référence internationale en matière d’observation de la Terre appliquée à l’environnement et au climat, un zoom sur Sentinel-1 et Sentinel-2 à travers deux exemples d’applications était au programme. ✅ Nous remercions chaleureusement Gil d’avoir ouvert le micro à CLS et à notre expert Vincent Kerbaol, Directeur du site CLS de Brest sur les applications de Sentinel-1 pour la détection de #pollutions par hydrocarbures, la détection de #navires, la détection d’#icebergs et de glaces de mer, sujet d’actualité avec le @VendeeGlobe .
