@oldmanebro Constructive criticism is one thing, but declaring an artist a ‘sickness’ to hip-hop, as if you have ownership over the genre, is highly unprofessional, especially coming from someone in such a prominent position

@SportsEver1 @imELITTE_ @OfficiallyIce I hear you and we’re probably just going to see this differently. At the end of the day, music is subjective, and I personally think Drake addressed everything with better songs, while Kendrick dodged a lot. But yeah, we could go back and forth forever, so I’ll leave it at that

@SportsEver1 @imELITTE_ @OfficiallyIce The overall argument is that the media, along with post interactions from botted accounts, played a pivotal role in shaping the narrative and how the battle was perceived

@SportsEver1 @imELITTE_ @OfficiallyIce Agreed, but I t’s not just about views, it’s about public perception. Post interactions and view disparities shape the narrative, especially for neutral listeners. If one track is amplified more, it naturally sways public opinion, regardless of quality

@SportsEver1 @imELITTE_ @OfficiallyIce Was enjoying the battle until it became clear that Drake had no chance after Meet the Grahams. Some claiming Drake was done despite the song not being overly critical and him not addressing anything from Family Matters. Yet, despite one being superior, both have the same YT views

@SportsEver1 @imELITTE_ @OfficiallyIce Taylor Made received mixed / negative reviews, many criticising the use of 2Pac / Snoop AI, despite its creativity. Now imagine if Kendrick did the same. would he face the same backlash? Meanwhile, when Euphoria dropped, the post interactions skyrocketed, making the bias clear

@SportsEver1 @imELITTE_ @OfficiallyIce Nah fam. Public perception was key. Everything Kendrick released was perceived as godly, further boosted by botted numbers and amplified by the media. Drake had no chance to go up against a coordinated industry attack
