To celebrate, here is my new casting reel! RTs and Vouches are appreciated :) 🎙️ I am actively looking for work as a play-by-play caster and host, primarily for TFT, but have been practicing and studying other games behind the scenes.👀 If you know of any events that could be a good fit, please reach out!

🇺🇸 Joopsakid's Dominance: Topping Back-to-Back Days at Tactician's Trials 2 Joopsakid dominated Tactician's Trials 2 this past weekend, securing back-to-back day wins. He topped the leaderboards on both days, winning five of twelve games and only dropping below top four once, proving his consistency and skills. With this achievement, he earned his place in Tactician’s Cup 2 and should be a favorite to win it all. But, who is Joosakid? Where did he come from? How far should we expect him to go? Joopsakid has been playing TFT since Set 1, transitioning from League of Legends, where he competed at the collegiate level. "TFT is a retirement home for LoL players," he said. He enjoys the game’s unique balance of strategy and variance, which keeps him coming back. Even though he competed in LoL, Joopsa didn't set out to compete in @TFT from the start. Joopsakid’s entry into high-level TFT was more organic. He didn’t initially aim for competition but improved steadily through consistent play and dedication, eventually earning the chance to compete. Joopsakid balances TFT with work, benefitting from a work from home job that allows him to binge ladder when needed. While he doesn’t commit to a full no-life grind, he is able to lock in and study up before big tournemtents. Clearly it has worked for him this time around. Joopsakid entered Tactician's Trials II with a clear mindset, free from stress. "I didn’t play many games prior to the tournament and also didn’t feel that I had a strong 'read' of sorts for the new patch meta." That clear mindset, staying flexible and getting little lucky, gave him one of the greatest weekend preformances of TFT ever. Joopsakid’s playstyle revolves around high-tempo item slams, allowing him to remain flexible with compositions. He commits early to uncontested comps while keeping other options open. Over time, as the competitive scene evolved, he said, "what sets a good player apart these days are identifying angles most people wouldn’t see, and playing strongest board in uncomfortable situations." For Joopsakid, mindset is the most important skill. “Approach matters. Tilt can ruin progress. Burnout is real. The best players stay composed and keep improving.” Joopsa often is quick to improve skills rather than blame others. For those looking to break into the competitive scene, Joopsakid emphasizes VOD review. “Compare your decisions to better players. Rinse and repeat until you make similar choices—and more importantly, understand why those choices are correct.” Joopsakid credits @Dishsoaptft and @setsukotft as two of the biggest influences on his gameplay, shaping how he approaches TFT at the highest level. With Tactician’s Cup 2 on the horizon, Joopsakid has one goal: play his best and see where it takes him. Will it keep him at the top of the leaderboard? Will it give him a ticket to the AMER Golden Spatula? If this past weekend is any indication, the competition better be ready, because he’s just getting started.
