North Ayrshire Justice Services Employability Mentor Programme are offering the opportunity to attend their new Forklift Training Programme. This is open to North Ayrshire residents only, who are involved in the justice system. This is a great way to get your licence and work experience. At our Positive Pathways event in HMP Kilmarnock last Monday we also gathered feedback from local employers, educational providers, and employability and volunteering services who were in attendance - we have pulled out some of their feedback below👇 @scottishprisons @ComJusScot - "Educate the team on the values of inclusivity" - "Take some feedback to our social values manager about having more handouts with more of our company information" - "I'm taking away lots of valuable information" - "I have enjoyed learning about the prison environment" - "Well organised event and I have learnt a lot whilst being here today" - "Really interesting day, very worthwhile" - "Tour of the sheds was very informative"

Last Monday we hosted our first Positive Pathways event at HMP Kilmarnock. We are currently reviewing the evaluation forms completed on the day by some of the men in attendance. We asked what they most enjoyed about the event, and have pulled out some of their feedback below👇 @scottishprisons @ComJusScot - "Knowing there is help and support available" - "Meeting positive people" - "Hearing about new opportunities" - "Chatting about possible educational prospects" - "The support available - knowing it is there for me" - "That there are options and training out there for me" - "Getting to know that there is help outside of prison"
