CHS students spent the day learning about careers in aviation! We toured Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and The Youngstown Flight School, both located at the Youngstown Airport.

Sophomores have an opportunity to visit Maplewood CC next week. Students must return permission slips by this Wednesday if they plan to attend. Applications for next school year will open next week after we visit.

Congrats to Steven L. and Cooper P who represented CHS at Buckeye Boys State Conference at Miami Uni. this summer. Steven said "The program was amazing not only because of the immense amount of information I learned about government but also because of the friendships I made ."

This past summer, Samuel R. and Natalie P. represented CHS at the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Conference. This was a 3 day event where they further developed their leadership skills. Sam said the experience "helped me grow into someone who is more confident in new situations."

CHS students have the chance to apply for a scholarship for an all expense paid, international, 4 week trip. The Crestwood Global Experience is provided by CHS graduate Andy Auble. Check out last years winner talking about his summer experience.
