Thank you Tanja. Yes survivors guilt I live with on the daily. Its the major reason I created this page to use my experience to help others aging out of care. In so doing I’m discovering I get to change the narrative from victimhood to survivorhood. ✨

I an aged out abused Care Leaver born into a hostile hellish world by my alcoholic parents therefore sentenced to a lifetime of separation, rejection, alienation, humiliation, degradation, poverty & mental illness . A doctorate in social leprosy indeed. Ty God for another day.🙏

. Me too. Thanks for your kind words. Yes as a social leper animals became my real friends and spiritual guides as I traversed through the hells of endless abusive foster homes. The hell I was living in was made much more bearable indeed.🙏
