Congratulations to Athlete of the Week, basketball junior Jason Small! Jason led the Saints to a 63-58 win over Gates Chili, scoring 19 points, as well as adding 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Jason also had 7 assists in the game against Webster Thomas last week. Way to go Jason!

Saints boys basketball wins for the 2md straight game with a 58-49 victory over LeRoy tonight. Lucas Karelus finished with 17 points to lead the Saints in scoring.

Saints boys basketball picked up a win over Gates 63-58. Jason Small led the scoring with 19 points. Brayden Stedman had 13. Jake Gonzalez and Landon Healey finished with 12 points a piece.

Congratulations to this week's Athlete of the Week, @CCCSDtandf senior Max Tomaszewski. Max broke his own school record in the Weight Throw this past week at RIT. He threw 57.2.75 and is now ranked #3 in Section V Class A1. Way to go Max!

Our boys @CCCSD_bowling team bowled the highest series of the season but was narrowly defeated by Brockport today. Senior Johnathan Wahls led the Saints with a 615 series which was an all-time personal best.

🚨Our district and Board of Education are excited to announce that Irondequoit High School’s gymnasium will be renamed in honor of former WICSD Director of Physical Education and Athletics, Mr. Dennis “Denny” Fries, one of the foremost athletic administrators in Section V and state history. The formal dedication ceremony will happen at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 22nd in the “Denny Fries Gymnasium.” It will start at the conclusion of a 4 p.m. Unified Basketball Blue & Gold Scrimmage. A reception will follow in the IHS Large Cafeteria. Mr. Fries worked for 39 years in West Irondequoit, the first 13 as a Physical Education teacher and Assistant Athletic Director (and coach), and the last 26 as the Director of Physical Education and Athletics. He retired from the WICSD in 2006 but stayed very active in various roles for another 17 years in Monroe County, state and national organizations, extending his profound and wide-reaching impact into a sixth decade. @CCCSDbswimdive diver Kyler Thomas does it again! Out of 23 divers, he took 1st place at the Webster Yeti Diving Invitational. Our 2 other divers also finished strong with Jordan Leastman taking 5th and Isaac Bailey 7th. Great work!!
