I would like to wish everyone in Coventry a very happy Christmas. While many of us will get a break over the next few days, I would like to thank all those who will still be working including our council staff and our emergency services.

Once the project is complete, Coventry residents will benefit from much cleaner air, with the obvious benefits of better health for young and old alike while the city will be served by some of the most modern buses in the UK.

Tackling fly-tipping is a key priority for us as a Council. This campaign and the changes weāre making to the fine send a clear message. Fly-tipping will not be tolerated. We have a beautiful city. Letās work together to keep it that way.
It's almost Halloween! However the attitude of these fly-tippers has scared us more than any trick or treaters. Remember the rules... if you recognise someone then let us know. Also, the fly tipping fine has been raised to Ā£1,000. Details about that in the comments.

Keiran played a big part in the life of the city and laid a wreath in the Memorial Park on behalf of the Royal Army Medical Corps as recently as November last year. He was a dedicated and caring councillor and loved his city. I shall miss Keiran as a friend, as I know many will.
Tributes have been paid to Honorary Alderman Keiran Mulhall who died at the weekend. Keiran was a former Lord Mayor and councillor for Radford ward between 1998 and 2018. The thoughts of everyone at the Council are with his friends and family.

I was delighted to be at @covjobsupport again, along with @RichParkerLab for the āNew Beginningsā jobs fair yesterday. What a fantastic turnout it was! It was great to see so many keen residents talking to the different employers about what their next opportunity could be. šš¼

It was fantastic to attend the opening of Coventry's new Police Museum today. The Museum is fascinating attraction which provides a really eye-opening look at the history of @CoventryPolice. I encourage everyone to visit when they can.
