This week Air and Marine crews contributed to the seizure or disruption of 5,289 lbs of cocaine, 141 lbs of marijuana, 9 lbs of fentanyl, 119 lbs of methamphetamine, $7,338 in currency, and 13 vessels. Air and Marine Agents also contributed to 6 arrests, and 697 apprehensions.

Rescued! On July 23, an El Paso-based aircrew worked with Border Patrol to rescue an injured hiker in the Animas mountains. Due to the rugged terrain, the AMO aircrew flew the individual to a local Border Patrol facility for further medical treatment.

Rescued! On July 16, an El Paso-based UH-60 crew responded to a report of an undocumented non-citizen who was suffering from heat-related injuries and unable to walk. He was flown to a local medical facility for treatment.
