Anjali Sharma, assistant professor in chemistry, was recognized as an "Emerging Faculty" member in the 2024 Office of Research Annual Report. Sharma's research on multitasking nanomaterials for drug/gene delivery earned her $1.3 million to enhance cancer research at WSU.

The WSU Psychology Clinic is instrumental to the Washington’s Farm Stress Counseling Voucher Program. The program provides farmers and farmworkers with free tele-health sessions with a licensed clinical psychologist and student trainees based in the College of Arts and Sciences.
