Vikings win 2 today!. Alex Gonzalez leads the way in the way in game 1 as he goes a complete game in the 4-1 win. Mac Moody hits for the cycle in game 2 and JT Johnson goes deep late to seal the deal. 11-8 was game two final.

Congrats to our two All-Region guys!. Dylan DeButy hit .340 with 20 homeruns and 18 doubles. Coby Greiner had 64 IP and finished with a 3.09 ERA (Region 2 best) and 82 strikeouts. Both of these guys are moving on to play Division 1 baseball at Arkansas State University!

When researching a program pay special attention to difficulty of schedule. Says a lot about the program as a whole. Don’t be naive enough to fall for the hype of inflated stats and win/loss record. If it doesn’t fire you up to play good teams then you should do something else.
