Recruiting Advice Cont…🔥🥎 6. Evaluate and Apply What You Learned Reflect on feedback received during the camp. Identify areas for improvement and incorporate them into your training. If the camp helped clarify your college preferences, adjust your recruiting strategy accordingly. By preparing, giving maximum effort, and making meaningful connections, you can turn a college camp into a valuable recruiting opportunity. Play hard, stay confident, and make a lasting impression!

Recruiting Advice Cont… 🔥🥎 4. Take Advantage of Face Time If the opportunity presents itself, introduce yourself to the coaching staff. Ask thoughtful questions about the program, the team’s culture, and what they look for in recruits. Building a relationship beyond your performance on the field can set you apart.

Recruiting Advice Cont.. 🥎🔥 3. Stand Out with Your Presence From warm-ups to water breaks, your body language, energy, and enthusiasm should reflect the type of athlete and teammate you are. Be vocal, support others, and take initiative in drills. Coaches notice effort and leadership just as much as skills.

Recruiting Advice Cont… 🔥🥎 2. Bring Your Best Effort Coaches are not just looking at talent—they want players who hustle, communicate, and show coachability. Be engaged, give 100% in every drill, and demonstrate a positive attitude. Even if you make mistakes, how you respond matters just as much as your performance.

Attending a college softball camp is a crucial step in the recruiting process. It’s your chance to showcase your skills, interact with coaches, and get a feel for the program. To make the most of your camp experience, consider these key strategies: 1. Do Your Homework Before the camp, research the program, coaching staff, and team culture. Follow the team on social media and familiarize yourself with their recent performance. If possible, reach out to the coaching staff beforehand to express your interest and introduce yourself.

The wait is over—college softball season is officially here, and I couldn’t be more excited! There’s just something about this time of year that brings back all the memories of long hours on the field, the energy of game day, and the unbreakable bond with teammates. Throwing it back to my days at Rutgers, where every practice, every road trip, and every battle on the field shaped me into who I am today. Grateful for the game, the lessons, and the lifelong friendships it gave me. Wishing all the teams out there an amazing season—play hard, leave it all on the field, and enjoy every second! 🔥 🥎

My name is Jennifer and I help softball athletes with the recruiting process. As a former D1 college outfielder and lefty slapper I had no idea where to start with the recruiting process. I spent countless hours figuring out what to say, where to send the emails, and trying to decide where I fit in the college softball world. I spent most of my senior year stressing out. This is why I started helping girls with the recruiting process and it has been so rewarding. The process can be overwhelming and sometimes impossible. You don’t have to do it alone. There are about 1700 colleges that have softball programs. The right school for you or your daughter is out there. My job is to find it. I use an online platform through College Athlete Advantage. The platform has over 1000 commits from high level D1 to local Junior Colleges. ( I have had a 100% success rate using this software with my athletes receiving offers from Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, NAIA and Junior Colleges. The important thing is to find the right school academically and athletically. Here is what I offer: Advisement from me (Coach Jennifer Turner) Profile on College Athlete Advantage Player Evaluation (1 per year) Help with Emails Analytics report Messaging system Help with skills video Help with game footage videos Calling coaches on her behalf Camp advice & More I am currently running a special for 2025’s still looking to find that perfect fit. (See flyer) If you are a 2025-2028 graduate looking to play college softball no matter what level, I would love to tell you more about what I do. More importantly, I would love to hear about your goals for college. Send me a message if you would like to hear more about my program 🥎💥 Jennifer@collegeathleteadvantage.com
