@KimiChernoby
I hired a woman to fill a position in our company. One of the men who would report to her told me that he'd leave if I hired her. I told him that we'd miss him and asked when his last day would be.
That was that.
Discrimination against women is still pervasive, and awful.
@anniekarni
Well, she sure isn't on my call list.
There are two types of people running for office these days. People of honor, and people who are without a moral compass. Her lies as press secretary prove which type of candidate she is.
@plutothepanacea
Fun Fact. No one in the history of college basketball has scored 3000 points, 750 rebounds, and 750 assists until Caitlin Clark. By season end she will own the scoring record for men and women. The fact that you hate it so much is just icing on the cake.
@PugloverDeb
No. This is not school. We don't offer food. I would have told him that I could have worked up a catering bid for him and that I will for whoever I hire for my next project.
@realDonaldTrump
Donald Trump, whom Brett does not trust, has worked for multiple presidents including the current pretender, who lost the popular vote. Brett resigned on principle rather than work for a grandstander. Why is the Fake President making such a big deal about this? Scared?
@chrissyteigen
I can't count the number of mistakes that I have made in my life. I received forgiveness...even when I might not have deserved it. You deserve it too. Learn, repair, and grow. Best wishes.
@AliABCNews
It is so discouraging to see how quickly people will surrender their integrity for a position of power. I must be old school, but I thought that people of integrity were essential for positions of power.
@ForecasterEnten
It's hard to imagine being shocked by Biden's gaffes if you've become inured to Trump's deliberate acts. One is an error, while the other is calculated.
@brianstelter
I understand. I lost my Mom last year. It was gutting. I've reached the point where the great memories are pushing away the pain more and more. I'll never get over it. I won't get used to it. But I can accept it now. I pray that you get there too.
@CHIMPSINSOCKS
Human rights, women's rights, LGBTQ rights. All matter. Extending equal opportunity is not like sharing a pie. When some other group is given their rights, your piece doesn't get smaller. So strange that some can't see that.
@kwelkernbc
My daughter and her husband went through similar challenges. Like you, they never gave up.
Mia is 12 years old now.
I wish you, your husband, and that baby the same joy that we all have experienced. We will pray for you all.
@hawkchick11
None. it was manufactured outrage to use as fuel for the game. It reminded me of how snarky Baylor was about Megan Gustafson in 2019. I think it's coach-generated...(by the same coach) as motivation.
@gtconway3d
@TomCottonAR
With President Trump in charge, rain would never fall at a WW 1 cemetery he’s going to visit.
Oh, wait…
No one would try to overturn an election.
Oh, wait
No one would be allowed to misuse classified information.
OH, WAIT.
@SenTuberville
@POTUS
On the contrary.
@POTUS
is making certain that the 400,000 women who serve get the health care that they deserve. YOU are the one impacting morale and readiness. If you led football teams like this, it's no wonder that you were fired multiple times.
@lynn3421
@ScottDochterman
Telling a sports journalist of 30 years that "maybe if he watched more women's basketball" shows that you don't know him or his work. Bad look.
@AshaRangappa_
I used to tell my staff that there were very few honestly made mistakes that we couldn't fix...but if you lie, you deserve what you get.

Returning them immediately, once discovered. No valet playing "hide the boxes" in Delaware. This was all avoidable. Just return the docs when asked.
@JenniferJJacobs
I believe that the assault on democracy started with Reid killing the supermajority and ended with the Garland nomination. There will never be an acceptable justification. Bi-partisanship died that day. Nothing about now surprises me.

June 18th: We go to Florida for a few days.
June 20th: Large rottie is sick in every way possible on the freshly cleaned rug.
June 26th: Expensive dining room rug professionally cleaned.
Sigh
We can't have nice things.
I don't get the logic of attacking
@TylerKluver
for being a D1 long snapper UNLESS you are a former D1 player or coach. He was in the building and on the team. He knows his stuff. So do the other guys. It's a helluva self-own.

No, but it's coming. All of my MAGA friends have gone radio silent in the last two months. Trying to defend the indefensible must be exhausting. We're talking over 65 white folks, protestant and catholic both. Pandemic and protester attacks have made a big difference.
I'm generally a big fan of tech and a bigger fan of Alexa. However, when she suddenly decided to tell me that the black ink was low in our printer, I was gobsmacked. I had no idea that the printer and Alexa were friends.
@SecVilsack
I’m with my mother at the U of I hospital. I struck up a conversation with a woman whose husband was recovering from a double lung transplant. The reason for his need? Covid. He got sick before it was his turn to get vaccinated. These decisions have consequences.
@DavidEickholt
I think this was inevitable. But, the stuff about KF is nuts. Iowa is one of five teams to win 70% of their games over the past 5 seasons. The man wins.
I remember 25 cent gas. I also remember making $1.00 an hour at that time. Gas is really high right now, it's true...but no one is bombing us. We are in a much better place than anyone in Ukraine.
Perspective is a valuable thing.
@david_darmofal
As an Iowa fan, I have to agree with this. Not only was it unfair to SC, but the focus on Clark was a helluva burden on her. Ratings are the coin of the realm in TV, but they come at a price measured in more than money. I'm glad to see SC get their due. It's totally earned.
@DaleJr
My kids are 43, 39, 37, and 34. Each time I see them, my heart leaps. It never ends. Children are small for a brief time, but you are a parent forever. I wish you all much joy.

Here is what I know as a 62-year-old white man. I've learned a lot in the last two weeks. I realize that what I've learned is still a small fraction of what there is to know. I am appalled. My heart and mind are open. I want to help be part of the solution, far beyond athletics.

This was in 1992. I've never forgotten it because Ann was a top performer and leader. She still had doubters, but she knew I had her back. Today, I have three brilliant daughters, one brilliant DIL, 4 granddaughters, and a beloved wife. They deserve every opportunity.

Ive always thought that people probably underestimate the US intelligence agencies capabilities. I've also thought that being underestimated is right where we want to be.
When I was in third grade, I noticed this small redheaded girl at school. She was a year behind me, so I only saw her at recess or when I found a reason to look in her classroom. I did not...could not forget her. I married her. She is my wife, and today is our 47th anniversary.
