C2C Faculty Friday Spotlight: Professor Deborah Ramirez, JD This week, we’re spotlighting Deborah Ramirez, JD, whose work through the Jail to Jobs (J2J) Pipeline Project reimagines justice and workforce systems to address recidivism while resolving the nation’s labor shortage. By partnering with Massachusetts Community Justice Support Centers (CJSCs), Professor Ramirez is building the infrastructure to help formerly incarcerated individuals access resources and secure employment. With 19 CJSCs established across Massachusetts, her work is creating a model for how workforce equity can be part of justice reform. C2C Faculty Friday Spotlight: Dr. NNeka Allen-Harrison This week, we’re spotlighting NNeka Allen-Harrison, Ed.D. whose work highlights the lived realities of Black job seekers in a region celebrated for its diversity yet shaped by persistent inequities. Her continued work brings forward solutions to address hiring disparities and income inequality. By developing tools like an employment dashboard, Dr. Allen-Harrison is helping to amplify voices and reimagine pathways toward workforce equity.
