where is/was the support for brenden fraser? terry crews? anthony rapp and all of spacey’s other victims? the countless male victims of powerful people in hollywood? this is NOT about you people caring about male victims.
literally every single comment on anything remotely from amber’s side being “just say you don’t think men can be victims and go” you guys have ROCKS in your brains!!! you don’t give a FUCK about male victims! you just love jack sparrow.
here’s how i can still watch poor things, asteroid city, past lives, killers of the flower moon, anatomy of a fall, showing up, the killer, the ballad of songbirds and snakes, the boy and the heron, beau is afraid and maestro before the new year starts
interesting how most male victims in hollywood are also victims of men, but in the rarer instance of the abuse being perpetrated by a woman, like in terry crews’ case, all i saw was people laughing at him, emasculating him, or saying he wanted it. there was no outcry for justice.
“it’s their land my dear” oh she ate. look how violent and bloodthirsty they become when faced with someone calmly asking for basic humanity. bless this woman and her grace in the face of such evil!
like… what other sitcom couple could have what is essentially a bottle episode of just them fighting, crying, and breaking up and that is so heartbreaking and depressing with so little comic relief and it works. and it feels sooo real and painful like. how did they even do that?
there aren’t constant outcries for male victims because most male victims are victims of other men…. this case offered society the perfect socially acceptable woman to be a punching bag for all your misogynistic hate and ridicule that they were foaming at the mouth for
y’all throwing around the word p*dophile while referring to a relationship between a 19 and 17 year old i’m begging you to put the phone down and go outside
just rewatched the clip and almost started crying they were acting their asses off. her falling into the kiss for a second before snapping back to anger, ross’s “okay. okay. okay.” it’s like too real it almost makes me nauseous.
@Meelyurate
i literally never said that. i’m saying you deppheads need to stop acting like you’re standing up for a revolutionary male victim and silencing anyone that doesn’t agree with you by reducing it to them believing men can’t be victims. none of us believe that.
hmmm maybe unpopular opinion but i think auteurism has kind of ruined our idea of what makes a good director… like i feel like you don’t need to reinvent the wheel and have a super unique, never before seen style to be an outstanding director, especially after only 2 films…
can someone PLEASE give me that photo of those 3 preteen bitches with the long ass hair and the nikes like posing and flipping off the camera i NEED IT AND I CANT FIND IT
since a lot of y’all are willfully missing the point… i am pointing out the hypocrisy and you guys using “men are victims too!” as a soapbox to stand on as if we haven’t known that for a long time… you guys are particularly into this one because it gave you a female villain.
@electric_chairr
@siyyaninaas
@btarrysgf
it was supposed to be written and directed by a woman and it was going to focus on the mother daughter relationship and themes of being a woman in power etc then they took it from her and gave it to a man and he made brother bear 2.0
y’all love any excuse to prove that women are the root of all problems. anything that fits the narrative that all women are calculated master manipulators and all men are flawed heroes trying their best.
it is clear to see for anyone with a brain that this whole case is a thinly veiled attack on metoo that people (men) have been waiting on for years. which is why they’re treating it like the fucking superbowl. metoo was beneficial for male victims!!! this verdict is not!
@siyyaninaas
@btarrysgf
when i first watched a video about that and heard the full story behind how it was supposed to go… my blood was BOILING omg like we could have had it all
i am in no way saying there was ZERO support for these men… again you guys are WILLFULLY missing the point. it is not proportional at all. johnny is being put on a pedestal as the revolutionary case proving men can be victims too, when that is not the case for MANY reasons…
@AnnettegoMeoww
@Meelyurate
that wasn’t ambers argument but, no actually i’m mad because this verdict was for the detriment of women, and all victims everywhere
regardless of what you think or how you feel, it is virtually impossible to deny how DETRIMENTAL this verdict is for ALL VICTIMS. if you can’t see the horrifying precedent this sets, i can’t help you. to me, it’s unconstitutional. and the precedent is already in action…
so many quotes and comments saying “well yeah because this time the abuser was a woman” YOURE LITERALLY TELLING ON YOURSELF that you only actually care about this case because it gives you an excuse to hate women??? you shouldn’t be excited by there FINALLY being a female abuser.
@romanroyco
people love to act so heartbroken and personally betrayed that the real person with real feelings and struggles they’ve liked….. isn’t perfect, it’s so weird like these are human beings with their own lives not characters made to make you happy
@bonyamericangrl
@baklavaIamp
i love that you said “it’s that serious” rather than “is it that serious?” cuz that’s what i thought at first and i was like, yes. it is.
@siyyaninaas
@btarrysgf
honestly act one is really good the set up and the “i’ll be shooting for my own hand” and the mother daughter fight where she throws her bow in the fire… then it all goes downhill so fast and we’re left with NOTHING it’s a travesty
spitting and turning red wishing the exact same barbaric and depraved acts of violence that they were supposedly so horrified by on this woman. gleefully and proudly. if these were real things that you saw happening to your people you would not be so flippant about invoking it.
real ones know the iconic wildflower cases origin story of the carlson girlies seeing miley cyrus out in public and she loved their diy phone cases and wanted to buy one and told them to start a brand☝🏼that’s literally hot girl history right there
and um i guess i’m alone here but i feel like greta most definitely has a consistent vibe and common threads and aesthetics between her films… just cuz it’s not super in your face doesn’t mean it’s not there🤨
IF THE POSTER IS TOMORROW THAT MEANS THE TRAILER CANT BE TOO FAR AWAY WHICH MEANS WE ARE DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO SEEING BOWLCUT MEDIEVAL TIMOTHÉE SPEAK IN A BRITISH ACCENT NEXT TO ROBERT PATTINSON AND LILY ROSE DEPP
@ModernGurlzz
exactlyyyy i feel like she gave the quite luxury vibe a lot in the original like just to show how above everyone she is. like this iconic look is so simple and understated but the matching louis bag and belt make it so iconic!!
claiming that people in gaza are fine and should be grateful while also saying this woman should go live there as a punishment, then when she says it’s basically a concentration camp they say that’s only the fault of hamas. the deflection and hypocrisy is just ridiculous.
saying this while the movies being played at theaters this weekend are ant man, puss in boots, magic mike, m night shyamalan, and COCAINE BEAR. why are we lying????
