A tough day for pupils, staff & parents. We’ve no idea when we will be open as a school again. For most, today could be the last day for some time. For Y6, this could be their last ever day. We’re about to tell them that we will do all we can to give them a leaver’s party one day
1 year ago, we did the unthinkable & closed school, saying goodbye & not knowing when all would return. We have all learned much in the time since. We have all been scared too. The buzz in school the last ten days has been amazing. Thank you to everyone in the Byron family.
Thanks for following us this week.
This trip wouldn't have been possible without The Outward Bound Trust & Vanquis Bank.
It wouldn't have happened without Mr Atkins, Mr Seaward, Miss Masters, Mrs Randall, Miss Sullivan & Mr Carthy.
Thank you to Mrs Langthorne back at base too.
In the coming days, our Year 6 leavers will all start at their new secondary schools. The whole staff team wish them all the very best and are looking forward to hearing how they are getting on.
Can parents and schools have the definitive Key Worker list
@educationgovuk
and
@GavinWilliamson
? The whole country is waiting to plan the coming months.
1/2S have had lovely morning at the Teddy Bear's Clinic at
@Medway_NHS_FT
. They are all now trained Doctors and Nurses. Teddies have had MRI scans and are feeling much better now. What an amazing experience.
Hot chocolate done. All back in bedrooms so that is it for today from us here in North Wales and Mrs Langthorne back in Medway.
Thanks for all the follows, likes and comments.
We will be back in the morning.

Well that is it for another amazing day for Year 6 in Snowdonia.
We have some very sleepy people this evening.
Parents and Carers, you have 24 hours to clear the laundry basket!
Thanks again for the likes and comments.

We are all better than we know.
Last tweet of the last night: Huge thanks to

@VanquisBank

The children were very surprised to see so many sheep in Wales yesterday. Lamb was one of the options for dinner last night so hopefully they now understand

We have loved our first day, even though the journey was long. Thanks to the
@AberdoveyCentre
staff for making us so welcome again. We cannot wait for a full day of adventure tomorrow.
We have followed up the Joe Wicks fitness session with a Beat Goes On
@BeatGoesOnUK
body percussion session as part of our critical childcare provision this morning.
All groups are on activities away from the centre for most of the day today so signal might not be good. We will post pictures when we can.
