I applaud the work of @empirestateccc, who was in Albany on to promote universal child care. The the Legislature should approve the Governor’s proposal to expand the child care tax credit, providing greater support to providers and financial assistance to low-income New Yorkers.

Today, on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, let us #NeverForget the horrors that human beings can and have visited upon one another. Today, and every day, we must do all that we can to ensure that history never, ever repeats itself.

My thanks to the @cpc_nyc for their Zoom meeting with my staff and me on Thursday, during which they explained their 2025 legislative and budgetary priorities. CPC does extraordinary work helping immigrants as they come to our shores to make America their home.
