LIC put money in IDBI Bank at Rs 61 in Dec 2018..all PSU banks been doubled/tripled from Dec 2018 lvls but idbi still at 59.
10 year Govt yield in Dec 2018 was 7.4% so in 4 years with 7.4% CAGR price should be 81 so if LIC sells below 81 , it will be distressed sale

FIIs are selling daily.. so thought of checking since 2008.. how much they really put in... if u look at CM provisional data from year 2008, it says FIIs had pumped 3.88 trillion and they already took out 3.56 trillion since yesterday.. so 32000 cr more left... count down on!

Hdfcbank first time hit 1364 on 10 Nov 2020. Nifty close that day was 12631
So even the Nifty index fund gave 72% absolute return and Hdfcbank gave zero return.

I was doing a fact check for elections for 2004,2009,2019 and current 2024.
Put together all exit polls prediction of past election and Nifty movement post exit poll and on result day..
To me 2024 looks similar to 2019 so I expect a big gap up on 3rd June.

I was assuming short covering by FIIs due to last hour Swift up move in Nifty and NiftyBank but I was so wrong. FIIs net index shorts further ballooned up from 245k to 259k.
Retail net long down from 283k to 281k.
FIIs net long down from 28% to 26%. Retail long 69%
FIIs net index shorts ballooning, up from 213k to 245k. Retail net index long up from 270k to 285k.
If you take open interest then
FIIs OI net shorts:61.33lacs
Retail OI net long : 70.82lacs
FIIs long down to 28%,retail long 69%
Nifty and NiftyBank almost flat..

MFs hold 1732269849 shares of icicibank. At CMP 1084 it total value is 187778cr
MFs hold 1276446030 shares of Hdfcbank. At CMP 1449 it's total value 184957cr
