@DorbyAllen Now this was a show where only A and B options are justifiable. It’d been a nice last few weeks for AEW, good to see them generate some positive buzz.

@EliotClough Lavonte David, Bobby Wagner, Derrick Henry and Rob Gronkowski amongst other HOF level players were all second round picks. So let’s put the pipe down regarding DeJean being the biggest steal ever seen in the second round. He’s a steal for sure, but the hyperbole is wild.

But why not use someone with his charisma and talent to help elevate a very shallow NXT men’s division before moving to the main roster? No point in trying to rush Starks into a main roster storyline prior to Mania.

@jimjam489 @DorbyAllen It’s a title that was being defended under British Rounds rules. Since King won the title, he’s been defending it in standard one fall matches, which for storyline purposes was King’s idea.

@jimjam489 @DorbyAllen I do think Page has the most upside and it’s not really close. Lexis King has potential. He could maybe be a Grayson Waller heel type on the main roster one day. Spears is better suited for the mid card in NXT. No shame in that, as you need mid card guys to balance the roster

@EliteClubS0B Honestly, this could be a better move to throw Cena in a three way match just so he can have some help in the ring. I know he was rusty in the rumble, and we only saw a little bit of Cena’s ring work, but he looked a little cooked out there, so Punk and Cody could help him.

…. Now do the part where you actually post C and D grade options on a consistent basis in your Dynamite show polls. Joking aside, I wasn’t a fan of Charlotte winning the rumble, but I’m hoping she’s booked to put over Tiffany at Mania and not have another hollow title reign. As for overall booking, WWE is paying the price a little bit for a phenomenal 2024, since a lot of their key storylines had the Rock involved in some capacity and it’s hard to see Dwayne having any serious storyline involvement in this years Mania. WWE gambled a bit with the Rock being available for 2025 and that hasn’t worked out, and some of the main storylines have taken a little bit of a hit. I have no issue with Jey’s booking. WWE has a full blown superstar on their hands and the fans love the guy. Jey will get his shot as champion and we’ll see if he can maintain that momentum. Charlotte hopefully puts over Tiffany. If she doesn’t, that’ll be a peak example of lazy and stale booking. I don’t know how I’d feel about a Cody/Cena matchup. Same with the three way between Punk, Roman and Seth. I’d rather see one on one feuds between Punk and the other two from a storyline standpoint. WWE booking isn’t anywhere near perfect, but it’s amusing to me that you are quick to point that out and yet when it comes to AEW, you seemingly can’t see how they consistently fall under a B grade show, when they’ve been mired in one of the most bankrupt creative periods of any wrestling company over the last 12 months.

@DorbyAllen @WrestleVotes He’s not wrong, so far, particularly regarding the unpredictability. No one expected Jey to win the Rumble and now Ricky shows up in NXT to give the men’s division a much needed boost. Wonder if we’ll see Malakai Black and/or Miro show up sooner rather than later as well?

That’s how this all works in team sports, though. Especially football. Any player on offense that wants to consistently win games needs to be able to count on his defense. Luck also plays a role in sports. With Brady, you can look at his combo of stats, wins and luck and understand how he would rank at or near the top of any educated fan’s GOAT list. Congrats on your Eagles SB win. I’m a Bucs fan and I enjoyed watching them smackdown KC, glad you guys were also able to do the same as well. Mahomes I think will bounce back. He rebounded nicely after the Bucs beatdown, so it wouldn’t shock me to see him back in the big game next year.

What’s funny to me is these guys are quick to cry about criticism and yet a few of them were on X after Kendrick’s halftime show offering their critique. @dustinrhodes is a good example. Here is a guy who is lecturing fans and he was front and center crapping on Kendrick. And look, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it’s just funny to me that these same guys can criticize something but yet they can’t seem to be able to take criticism themselves.
