I will never understand why some Pirate fans hate Cole. He didn’t ask to be traded, and it’s not his fault he pitched better after leaving the organization. The Bucs wouldn’t have reached the playoffs without him I 2013-15 and he’s always been complimentary toward the fanbase
Gerrit Cole has now spent more MLB seasons outside of Pittsburgh than in it. But he's sentimental about the playoff years there.
