The Missing Link 🔗 🤔 Had 2 big hitting discussions this week! 1. Group call w/ @TJHannam10 2. Meeting with MLB hitting coach. Same theme came up ⬇️ Some hitters missing link 🔗 isn’t unlocking something in their swing. It’s unlocking the belief in themselves: • Belief that they are a dude. • Belief that they are nasty. For some hitters, unlocking the next part of your game isn’t fixing a mechanical flaw, it’s changing how you think about yourself. Go be a dude.

Most truly don't understand how hard making adjustments in the swing are. When making changes, it is easy to see results off the tee or front toss, but if you bring in a machine or a live arm, the changes don't always hold up. Its not that your plan isn't working, it just needs more time and reps for the movements to show up under pressure. Trust the process and keep working.

Simple, but effective load⚡️⬇️ Gather + Reach • Gather - left shoulder turning down. Loading into back hip. • Reach - holding tension in back hip. Staying “back” while going forward. For hitters that struggle with getting too far forward, sometimes feeling “reach” instead of “stride” keeps them back more effectively 💯

Hitters - 3 Ways To Be Mentally Strong In Game 🔲 Stay in the present - don't let your last at-bat impact the next. 🔲 Focus on what you can control - Sticking to your approach / Swinging at good pitches / Hitting the ball hard. 🔲 Undeniable Belief - Know you have put in the necessary work to be successful.

3 Things I Would Do EVERYDAY As A Hitter ⬇️ 1. Train Bat Speed Bat speed is not everything, but it matters. A Lot. 2. Perfect My Routine Figure out what I need to work on and be consistent with working on it everyday. 3. Challenge Myself Make practice hard. Challenge your swing in tough environments. Do these 3 things everyday for a year and watch your game 📈
