This is just a reminder Tony voters love a musical where teenagers commit felonies & get away with it. Last year they awarded best musical to a show about a high school glee club committing check fraud & this year they awarded it to a show about a teenage boy murdering someone.

OK, I’m gonna make a video on this but one of the reasons why Broadway Flea was so crowded this year and this should’ve been thought of logistically is this is the first time in over 15 years that every theater on 45th street was occupied and had performances during Flea.

If you’re gonna bring Last 5 Years to Broadway, you have to put it in one of the four following theaters or you don’t bring it to Broadway…Booth, Friedman, Hayes, Golden… in that order. No one should have to sit 5 stories above the stage in the balcony to watch L5Y.

This is the show’s 2nd to last week after they won 4 tonys…. If students bought tix when they first went on sale, they were able to get tix for just $60 or via tdf for $23-$44 if they are a CUNY student. We also have pro-shot, so I don’t feel bad for anyone paying these prices.

The biggest Takeaway I have for the organizers at

is DO NOT HAVE SHOW TABLES NEXT TO EACH OTHER, make sure there is at least one union/organization/theater company table between each, and that also goes for high demand tables like Final curtain and TDF.

Add to that all of the shows on the west side of 45th offer rush, which should not be suspended during flea, bcuz part that would not be in the spirit of an actual flea market, but the bigger issue is must of these shows have extremely dedicated fanbases…(2 of)
