@KGuugle @Lars693168870 @JimTrakas @Gerashchenko_en Post Fukushima, CSU/CDU held healthy margins over the SPD... but yes, let us believe CDU had nothing to do with closing German NPPs, and was powerless to reverse the Merkel knee-jerk reaction to close them after Fukushima. What a gov't system... zero self-responsibility ever!

@NLwartracker If I recall correctly, they will become a frequency island based on their own power generation... 2 large gas plants & a couple smaller gas plants that were recently built. The AC/DC-DC-AC inverter in Poland will be "bypassed" once frequency synch happens with Lithuania.

@Lars693168870 @JimTrakas @Gerashchenko_en Oh look, the CDU/CSU in power nearly 20 years up until early winter 2021 and what did they do to save German nuclear plants? Apparently, nothing given the "big bad' SPD & Greens were just able to control their spinless asses for all those years. But keep blaming those greens!

@JimTrakas @Gerashchenko_en Oh BS... the CDU had over a decade to reverse their decision to close the nuclear plants post Fukushima... but they didn't.

@Gerashchenko_en But keep on supporting the AfD and Merz because they are not Scholz & the SPD... like supporting Trump & MAGA because they are not Biden & his escalation manage Sullivan.... see how it works out for you.

Bit of a DOGE AI glitch, no? I'm pretty certain, wind farms, errr... "windmills" are not on the approved list of innovative projects within Trump's American Energy Dominance.
AES Panama’s recognition by the State Department for corporate excellence in energy security is a win for America-first leadership. Their innovative projects—like wind farms and LNG hubs—show how U.S. investment strengthens both nations while reducing reliance on foreign energy. This isn’t globalist handouts; it’s strategic dominance. Trump’s vision of energy independence is alive and thriving, proving that real security starts with American innovation, not bureaucratic red tape. Panama benefits, but so do U.S. taxpayers. That’s how you build a superpower.

@CherylCK4 you know how annoying it is to fall asleep in the 3rd overtime only to wake up to the Canadian national anthem followed immediately by static and there was no ESPN to find out the score! (Almost every Oilers playoff game during the Gretsky years)🤦♂️

Took less than 10 days of a power/oil hysteria to arise on the backs of Trump's Tariffs on Canada, & Canadian threats to kill electricity exports. Meanwhile in Ukraine & Russia, it took nearly 3 F*CKING years for 🇺🇦GUR to start targeting oil pumping stations & not yet on 🔌subs!
Have a look at this pipeline map. Canada's threats to withhold or tax oil from Canada are hollow since even pipelines servicing Canada dip into the USA before coming back up. The blue line is the proposed Energy East line. Want leverage? Complete it now!

@AinsworthKeith @polosonrouge @cturnbull1968 @catturd2 @Canada So then, why is there a direct shot from the Permian to Corpus Christy export terminals where the majority of new US production is headed? Answer, US refineries have not reconfigured for light grades.... maybe they have less confidence on duration of the supply then producers do

@meechygano @Cbaum95 @cturnbull1968 @catturd2 @Canada No idea what you are talking about... US refineries need heavy crude... coming from Canada. And while US light tight oil production exploded over the past 10+ years... no US refineries reconfigured to use LIGHT oil, so they still need Canadian heavy grades to produce fuels.

@CherylCK4 @GavinNewsom Ah, updated map. Previous map included in the provincial application process harkened back to the days of Jesusland dominating the southern US.
