The Life and Times of Dinah Marton: My First Kill #CrimeDrama #CrimeThriller Suddenly, I heard a gut-wrenching scream coming from inside the building and down the hall—and without thinking, I bolted for the door. John grabbed my wrist. “Ooohhh, no, you’re not going anywhere,” he said with Clint and Brad grabbing on. “Let me go John, this is not funny!” I shouted, while tugging and pulling against my captors like a fly caught in a spider’s web, but it was no use; physically, I was outmatched. “Let mee goooo! Aaahhh!” I screamed, kicked, and thrashed. “What’s the matter, Dyka?” John said. Clint grabbed my leg. “Huh, you don’t wanna play? “Yeah, smarty, let’s see you think your way out of this one!” Brad laughed as they wrestled me to the ground.

@SheenaH33 Vehicles are such a pain because you have to specify which door they're using. Driver's side door passenger's side door or front or rear.

Been listening to Starship Troopers. I had to stop and share a bit of subtle humor. A common expression is "bought a farm" for when someone dies in combat. In one scene, Rico is offered rank insignia worn by a previous soldier, but it turns out it's unavailable due to a "real estate deal." That got a chuckle out of me.

@AuthorGFAllen Most of the time, yes. I have a couple of book ideas brewing in my head that I don't know what the endings are yet. I may start writing them once I know that. Having a destination in mind helps me better shape the journey. I always "ask how do we get there?"

It's a mixed bag. I've gone back and forth on whether I would use it or not. You'll reach more readers if you don't "allegedly", but it also depends on your target audience. If you're writing young adult or something more geared towards children then probably not. That said, I typically avoid profanity unless there's a reason for it. My characters don't swear for the sake of swearing.

Look... as a player I get it, it sucks when your favorite game is no longer available. However, from a business, a company should not be required or forced by law to maintain old products. That's absurd. It goes against the very nature of progress. That fact notwithstanding, a company can do whatever it wants with it's property. When you buy a game, you essentially buy a license to it. They can discontinue service at will. Read the EULA sometime. Favourite game no longer playable? UK government says it won't tighten rules to punish publishers who switch off servers |

@WadLauren @AuthorGFAllen I like having the freedom to work on my projects. Unfortunately, money is needed for that most of the time.

Writers, how are you with grammar, punctuation, and spelling? Are you awesome? Do you leave it for the editor? Do you use AI assisted tools like Grammarly or ChatGPT? #writing #WritingCommunity
