Mr Taylor's favourite week yet as we see some utterly wonderful work. Too many worthy pupils to fit in just one message. #BOSbook_proud (1/2)

On Wednesday lunchtime, 10 students participated in a biscuit decorating session and a berry and yogurt granola pot activity as part of Children's Mental Health Week 2025. They were a true credit to the school, engaging with enthusiasm and enjoying a wonderful time together!

Another one of our events to mark Childrenā€™s Mental Health Week was ā€˜Time to Moveā€™. Students were invited to come along and participate in Just Dance at lunchtime. Exercising is so beneficial for both our bodies and our minds.

As part of Childrenā€™s Mental Health Week we had ā€˜Time to Readā€™- students were invited to have a hot chocolate, home made biscuit and listen to Mrs Parkins read a story out loud. Reading for just 20 minutes per day can help to reduce stress.

We are so proud of a group of our Year 10 boys who selflessly shaved their hair off to raise charity for Childrenā€™s Cancer UK. They have contributed to raising an amazing Ā£550 up to now. Well done!

We love it when pupils show us their previous hard work in a subject. Mr Taylor was so impressed with Sarah-Jayne's primary school History work. Well done.

Year 8 and 10 students from the Broadoak Student Council were able to speak to the school's catering team- Aspens. They voiced and articulated their and their peers views about the food, and service provided and represented the school brilliantly. Well done!
