So, we officially have our first LEGO set that promotes online crypto gambling!. I think a lot of Lego's rules about what can and can't be produced are antiquated and arbitrary - but I'm so disappointed in Lego for this one, I cannot believe it got approved. (THREAD)

@treehug_ger It is. LEGO’s 18+ line is relatively new, it’s sets aimed towards adults, usually designed more as models than toys. I don’t think this set should have been included under that line, but it’s bc it’s a model marketed towards adults, not bc lego thinks it’s inappropriate for kids.

@magicmothman Lego as a company donates a ton, to many good causes. This set was also thought of and designed by @matthew__ashton, who is a member of the LGBTQ+ community himself. I totally understand not loving corporations but LEGO does a lot more good than many others out there

Happy March!. As of today, it has been 2,404 days since August 1st, 2017. That is the same amount of time between January 1st, 2011 and August 1st, 2017. We have now been getting the Ninjago ninja redesigns in sets for as long as we had the originals.

Curious to see what Lego’s cooking up next, because if Monkie Kid and Dreamzzz are both on their way out this year (which unfortunately it seems that may be the case), that leaves Ninjago and Friends as the ONLY Lego-original story-based themes.

Here in AFOL civilization, no one jumps for the EVO Thunder Dragon. It’s safer to spend $460 on Barad Dur and point to the 18+ on the box, rather than risk spending $20 on the Thunder Dragon and having to explain that you actually just like Lego, regardless of the box

Finished Dragons Rising Season 2 last night, and im happy to see that the show is still in good hands. The characters are the absolute highlight of the show - Kai especially is the best he’s ever been, and Wyldfyre is my favorite of the new cast. Can’t wait for what’s next!

Jay is the only one who isn’t a 100% upgrade. The removal of the eyebrow notch and the switch to dark brown instead of orange hair make him less unique. Hairstyle is much better tho and freckles fit him perfectly.

I always found it curious how in S11, Sorla refers to Kai as “a fire elemental”, rather than an “elemental master” and the concept doesn’t seem unfamiliar to her. Maybe the other realms have their own EM, & now that they’ve merged, there’s multiple for each element running around.
