I bet a dude in the airport I knew more about horse racing than he did… He said no shot and put his first class ticket at stake…
Well. Here we are.
@Delta
Not going to lie - I also hate when owners take the lead to bring horses into a winners circle
Let the groom stay in the place he absolutely deserves. The owners can grab the other side or lead next to the groom
Owners aren’t leading the horses back to the barn when they lose…
Once found guilty - they should be BANNED FOR LIFE.
No excuses. No mercy. Enough is enough.
We need to do better and here is an opportunity to show the commitment to doing so.
Unpopular opinion: I hate 2yo sales. Sprinting and sticking the sh** out of a 2yo to show what it can do in a furlong is destructive and unnecessary
My opinion.
50 years after a female owned horse wins the Belmont Stakes and the Triple Crown…
30 years after Julie Krone became the first female jockey to win the Belmont Stakes…
A female trainer
@jenaantonucci
becomes the FIRST boss bish to win the Belmont Stakes

Just a reminder to some of those who may have forgotten
We love our animals. It is our duty to care for them with their best interests at heart...always. If that isn't your mantra everyday when you go to work in our industry, please find another.
Horsemanship first

Found out this afternoon the state is closing restaurants for three weeks.
We went out tonight and wanted to take care of our server.
It’s the holidays peeps- shop small. Be kind. And show love.
Share the blessings this season.
Most men are boys
Yep. Repeat that.
Especially in the horse racing industry. Bunch of trust fund baby wannabes. Come at me Jackson Bryant the 4th. No one cares.
Equestrians usually have a rule that we 99% of the time abide by: “It is NEVER the horses fault.”
I can tell you with 100% certainty - this was DEFINITELY that horses fault!

I have learned something out of all this drama : Horseplayers should be paid more attention too. They know what’s going on and don’t have ulterior motives.
Let’s start listening to ALL of our industry not just the owners or the tracks or the trainers...
For the record this is my Dad: his name is Bob Mott.
In case any aholes think I’m quote “riding ‘coat tails’” of someone I’m not related to.
I witnessed my first horse race in 2009 when I worked an internship in KY as a groom.
Been WORKING in the industry ever since.

Went to Dubai in 2014…
One of the most epic nights out I’ve ever had.
Followed by an epic hangover.
This is legit the only picture I have from that trip 😂 prob better it wasn’t documented.
Friendly reminder that I'm not actually related to Billy but I will use his parking spot at the tracks if there are no other spots open....
Oh and he did get my horses vet bill once...but didn't pay it.

How cool is this?
My mom always wants to go ice skating when winter comes and we hardly ever go.
This year my stepdad bought her skates for Christmas and cleared a spot on the lake so she can go everyday right outside their house. ❤️
Twitter is hilarious today
Listen: Any of u doing the “the only ones that get hurt” posts need to knock it off
The entire industry gets hurt. The bettors. The fans. The breeders. The track. The networks. EVERYONE
Clean it up and stop saying one is more powerful than the other
Dear Racetracks of America -
we have a very big opportunity to grow our sport right now. In order to do so-you need to let MEDIA on to your track so they can help PROMOTE the sport.
By not letting them in, you are continuing to CUT OFF our sport to the masses—WHO ARE PAYING ATTN
“Without the horseplayer there would be no racing”
Without the owners
The breeders
The racetracks
The ADWs to facilitate bets
The grooms. Trainers. Exercise riders. Jockeys. Truck drivers. Vets. Farriers.
Everyone. They all matter. Horseplayers can’t bet on a nonproduct.
Ever see a horse getting surgery? Here’s mine getting a chip out of his ankle today.
His tech gave him a kiss for me (since obvi I can’t be there) ❤️
Surgery took under an hour & they removed two chips from his ankle that have been bothersome on & off. Now 2 months to recover!
