Will anyone even try to defend the Trump administration’s attempt to allow non-government personnel to access and utilize taxpayers’ private financial data and with no proper security protocols to boot.. It is only a federal judge’s temporary order at present that’s placed any controls on this clear breach. I joined my House colleagues in introducing our Taxpayer Data Protection Act to explicitly disallow these efforts. Here’s our bill:
