Dear transfer portal,
Please make players try to work things out before coming to you. Tell them the grass is not always greener on the other side. Remind them that some players end up homeless! 😩 If it is the best option, then go. Just think it through before you go!

I’m tired of coaches discrediting us. To say “all we do is rebound” completely undermines my ability to coach and my players abilities to execute, defend, score and share the ball. We do Rebound well, but that’s not ALL we do! Finished 27-6, because we actually Coach Basketball!!

Recruits - Go where you are wanted & the head coach sees your value! It will make all the difference when you get there! Then work at keeping a strong relationship with your coaches & teammates. It’s not easy, but playing college basketball is the experience you make of it! 🗣❤️

Tip 1: It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish!! I never looked down on the 1️⃣ offer I had, I was grateful. I appreciated my coach for believing in me & wanted to make her proud. Everyday I put in work. We went from last in R14 to Championship Game my sophomore szn! 🔥

Tip 5: Buy in to what your coaches are teaching. At the end of the day, scholarships are annually renewable and your coach makes that decision so work at building a positive relationship with them! Speak, engage and show them you care about more than your individual success! 🗣
