Money corrupts these things IMO. In August last year, my team and I released Entropy : Zero 2 for free. It took us five years to make. We talked about monetizing it, sure. But we decided not to. It wasn't a job for us; it was a hobby. No pressures. No deadlines. Just creating.
Our current status for those who are asking: Recording final dialogue. Implementing achievements. Preparing for big test. As usual, I'm not going to make any promises. Just hang in there as you have been doing so patiently :D !

Work has continued on EZ2 since our huge media release in August. We are making major strides. No news on release dates yet. We are however approaching a major milestone. When we're ready to talk, we'll talk. Hang tight!

My wonderful cat Douglas passed away very suddenly last night. He was my best friend. He was super friendly and calm. He loved attention. He would always interrupt our streams and sit on my keyboard. I'm really going to miss this guy.

If you're a fan of Doom / Build Engine stuff, you NEED to play Ashes 2063. Play both episodes. I cannot overstate how good they are, and they are both completely FREE! I've been blown away with it. It is amazing. You can tell it was built with love.
He was also working on a mod called Operation Stabilization. We spoke occasionally regarding his work. I wish to extended my deepest condolences to his friends and family. We will remember him for his kindness and friendly nature. You will be missed, Marian. Rest in peace. 2/2

The lines are deliberately blurred with Half-Life's narrative and that allows us to branch off and make wonderful and interesting things. Canon fluidity. An oxymoron perhaps.
EZ2 status update : final dialogue going into the game now. Finale coming together. Two maps left - both of which are already in progress. Extraordinary busy. Lots to do still. Internal testing soon.

I'm genuinely sad to see this one go. I was excited for BA. I know how much work goes into these things and how much time you have to dedicate to bring this story to life. Having to cancel is painful. It'll heal in time. Good luck to you all.

We're quiet but still working away trying to wrap the gameplay arc of EZ2. Still lots of lines recorded now and I'm working to get those into the game. Final maps are in development still. Please bare with us! Here's a shot from c6_2!
So yeah, I'm building the final fight. Long way to go yet but we will soon reach a development milestone - completing the game from start to finish (pretty much) O_O
