LOCATED - Missing child located. An amber alert was issued earlier this morning regarding a missing 2 year old child. The child has been safely located. The investigation is continuing.
BPS has received a number of complaints from the public regarding the Amber Alert that was issued this morning regarding an abducted 2 year old child. Please see the attached release that was prepared in response to the complaints.
Retired Constable Andrea Cooper was an important part of our community and our BPS family, having served 30 years on the force. Andrea, you are missed by so many. On behalf of BPS, our sincere condolences to her family and friends.
BPS monitored and responded to 2 large gatherings this weekend. While we recognize the right to protest, gatherings of +5 are not permitted under Prov. orders. Public safety is our top priority. Multiple charges have been laid for failing to comply with an order. More to follow.

Lamborghini and Tesla drivers caught racing on Wayne Gretzky Pkwy travelling approx. 150–200 km/hr in 70km/hr zone.
Both drivers were charged with racing, served a 7-day license suspension and had their vehicles towed and impounded for 7-days.

Update-A 37 year old male is facing Abduction & other Criminal Code charges after a 2 year old child was abducted from a home early this morning & an amber alert was issued. The child was located safe. BPS would like to thank everyone for their assistance.

SLOW DOWN! Hopefully this driver got the message after being caught travelling 134km/hr in a posted 70km/hr zone on Wayne Gretzky Parkway. Charges include stunt driving and speeding. The vehicle was impounded and the driver's licence was seized on the spot.

BPS Officers were able to recover and return 35 shopping carts valued at over $10,000 to local businesses. They were located abandoned or being used by people for other purposes. Shopping carts are the property of the businesses and considered theft if removed from the property.
With over $1 million in drugs, firearms and drug manufacturing equipment (pill press) seized, and two Brantford men arrested; Project MENACE is the largest seizure of it's kind for a BPS/ Six Nations Police joint investigation:
