WHY?! People bet at bet365 or unibet or similar… If they are EV+ they are quickly limited. If not limited that is a reciept of being EV-, but they keep betting… keep using tipsters EV- shit. Sad and deceptive.

You assume that CLV is efficient, and it is but only on an aggregate level. The tipsters might exploit the ineffective parts of the markets not caught by the rest of the market before closing. The red line and the stats does not really indicate random luck....

Can probably in a longer timespann, but it will always cost on yield. Meaning you need to calibrate models for higher yield to get what you need (not that easy in sharp competition such as Betfair)

changing commission from 2% to 5% (sweden) changed my expected yield from 4.2% to 2.3% - Still their markets are so much more fair than sportbooks limiting and closing accounts as soon as someone seems to have even the smallest edge!

I fully agree that liquidity is good on those markets, but the majority of the soccer matches with markets on Betfair are not big leagues - think I counted to something like 400 leagues represented during the last years…
