@MartySilkHack It goes from worrying about lockdowns, to basically isolating yourself as much as possible ANYWAY to avoid having to…isolate. It’s all very illogical and unsustainable

@ReconnectAust I’m a tad confused as to how they expect anyone to isolate in a hotel for 3 days without being able to go buy food etc..? Are we expected to pay for Uber Eats or something

@MartySilkHack Yay! I booked a GC restaurant for a few weeks in the future, for a friend's birthday today. So excited! CommBank immediately emailed me to say they'd blocked my card because of potential fraud being used overseas, so there was THAT, but overall 10/10 excited

@ReconnectAust It’s wild how at the 80-89% vaccination rates, the states differ so much on whether 7 or 14 days quarantine is required. Where do they get their info? Why can NT ask for 7 while QLD asks for 14? 😵‍💫

@EstherRockett Exactly what I’m doing! Not ideal, but there’s no way you’ll catch me doing a solo lockdown for two WEEKS mid summer… I’d have begrudgingly accepted 7 days, but 14? Nah. Sydney can have my company for that time.

@MartySilkHack Hmm, okay followup question. If you spent say, 10 days in another state and then wanted to travel to QLD. Would you have to home quarantine for a full 14 days, or just a final 4 days to bring you to 14 days in-country?
