Basically, why play vanilla 8 with a terrible character roster, terrible battle mode and just the 48 tracks (or 32 for those who didn’t get the DLC) while 8DX has a better roster, better battle mode and 2 whole games in 1 package

The city tracks aren’t as bad as what people try to make them out to be (minus London & Tokyo)
Dry Dry Desert was a great track to bring back in 8
Shroom Ridge and DS Mario Circuit were great DS tracks for the BCP

I like this scene a lot and the quote that follows about DK being more than a Smash Monkey, because I felt him when he’s trying to hide his insecurities and not wanting Mario anywhere close to his family issues
They could have done the cliche "We're not so different" thing, but this was so much better.
