If you ask someone who isn’t a close family member to look after your child for longer than 28 days, this could be a #privatefostering. You need to notify us at least 6 weeks before the arrangement starts or as soon as possible if it is already in place.

Do you work with children? If you feel a child you support is part of an unregistered #privatefostering arrangement, notify us and we will make the relevant enquiries. It is a legal requirement to register #privatefostering arrangements. Call 01274 433999 to make a referral.
