As an animatronics engineer I must say that the hatred towards projected or screen media in attractions is ridiculously overblown on here. Sometimes a story calls for something that cannot practically be represented with an animated figure

During a talk with all the Universal Creative interns I answered a dumb trivia question and Woodbury joked that he owed me a coffee. Two weeks later I get an email from his assistant saying he was serious and she set up a one-on-one coffee chat for us. Fascinating dude!!

Skillful integration of media with physical sets and figures can make an attraction a complete, beautiful story. Also I’m amused by the folks who seem to think it’s “cheap” lmao I assure you it is not like going to Best Buy & buying a TV. Where do you think the media comes from?

Oh and one more thing: never judge an attraction without actually experiencing the queue + ride in-person. A YouTube video can never do the detail and atmosphere justice
