Never nice to lose on penalties, but we’ve gone toe to toe with a team who are from the division above and taken them all the way! Couldn’t fault the effort at all today! Must of been a great game to watch, credit both teams playing 120 minutes in 30 degree plus heat ☀️😰🔴⚪️🔴

It’s hard to say you’re happy after you’ve been dubbed, but with the way we applied ourselves today and we didn’t stop working I am. We had bits of quality throughout. More minutes in the tank for everyone and good test against a step 3 side! We go again next week

Proud and honoured to of taken charge of the first team game against Scunthorpe United last night at home, a place as a kid I used to stand on the terraces, a moment I could of only dreamt of as a kid and when I took the U21s role.

Full Time | The Young Trinity side are beaten 7-2 at home in the Lincolnshire County Cup by a strong Scunthorpe side. Some positives despite the loss, Ethan Cowan made some brilliant saves and going forward, The Blues looked quite promising with Preston and Simpson scoring
