Great finish for Adam at State! He finished with a two day total of 156 (77/79) and we are already looking forward to getting back at it next spring!

With a combined GPA of 3.846 from our Section Line-up, the Saber Boys Golf Team earns Team Academic All-State Honors for Section 2 AAA! Great job by our student-athletes, their teachers, and their families! @SabersAD

Sabers had 2 golfers compete in Day 2 of sections. Junior Adam Wagner shot a second consecutive 73 to tie for 5th and punch his ticket to state! First boy state participant in 8 years! Ty Zitzmann followed up his first day 79 with another 79 to finish in the top 25. @SabersAD

Varsity competed in sections Tuesday at Ridges shooting 315 to place 7th. This was 4 strokes better than last years, but unfortunately did not qualify for day 2 with Waconia at -5 as a team. Wagner and Zitzmann led the way powering them to day 2. Brook and Remmers also score

Varsity Boys with a 5th place finish at the conference championship to finish tied for 4th overall on the season in the SSC! Sabers were led by Co-Medalist Logan Remmers, giving the Sabers back to back individual conference event medalists! Wagner, Lorenz, and Brook also score!

Senior Logan Remmers is Co-Champion of the 2024 SSC Conference Championship with a score of 73 at are Meadows! This coming less than a week after his 5th place finish with a score of 72. Some great golf to finish out the regular season for Logan! @SabersAD

JV Boys take 2nd in their conference meet today led by Brandon Busher who’s 79 finished 3rd overall. Heyer and Stoering add 84’s. Engler rounds it out with an 85! @SabersAD

Varsity wins its match play Ryder cup event vs NP at Le Seuer Country Club yesterday! Adam Wagner and Tyler Lorenz led the way with a 7 1/2 point victory! Thanks to Mankato East for hosting a great event!

Sabers shoot 317 to win the Byron Open today in some tough conditions at Somerby. Rin Stoering and Tyler Lorenz led the way with a 77 and 78 for 5th and 6th place individually. Sam Willmert and Logan Remmers added to the scoring with a pair of 81’s. @SabersAD

JV takes 5th today at the South Invitational. Jayden Rippel takes 10th overall with an 83. Junior Brandon Busher shoots 84, and Sophomores Collin Peterson and Dev Bhakta round out scoring with 90’s! Bhakta, Juhl, and Ho all play in their first meet!

Varsity takes 9th at Inverwood today with an all Junior lineup. Adam Wagner and Rin Stoering led the way with 81’s followed by Sam Willmert with an 82 and Max Brook with an 83!

First conference meet today. Varsity takes 5th led by Adam Wagner with an 80. JV also takes 5th led by Run Stoering with an 82. V and JV back in action tomorrow!

Shako Boys Golf opened the season yesterday at Bunker Hills shooting a 307 to take 13th out of 30 teams. Junior Adam Wagner lead the way tying for 6th with a 71. Junior Ty Zitzmann and Senior Tyler Lorenz come in with a 76 and a 79 to put 3 Sabers in the 70's @SabersAD
