I'm not flipping on Pikmin 4 but I think it's my second favorite game behind Pikmin 2.
The auto lock and lack of difficulty makes it less fun to replay
Mods will probably remedy that tho. I'm excited for a Pikmin 4 randomizer

Pikmin 4 is amazing but here's a list minor things that I'd love to see added in updates for the game.
- option to turn off auto targeting
- option to have charge and manual lock-on function like Pikmin 3 Deluxe
- harder night expeditions (leaf sage level difficulty)

There's something so uniquely fun about seeing people break games like Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time. I wish there was an indie game that replicated that type of fun for everybody. Viewfinder comes close by letting you place geometry down using photos but it's still not the same

Pikmin 3 Story Mode is really boring to replay. There's no challenge, can't do things in different orders and tons of annoying dialogue and cutscenes that ruins the game's pace on repeat playthroughs. It's only worth playing once or twice

A prerelease screenshot of Pikmin 1 shows Olimar seemingly in command of a swarm of Mushroom Pikmin. In the final game this isn’t possible without glitches.
Whether this was a legitimate cut feature or just made for the screenshots is unknown.
