Given the Bluesky exodus, if anyone wants to follow me there, you can follow the bridge from my Mastodon, as I have little interest in joining Bluesky directly: (or see )

@ZShaman13 @MinuteofZombie @AJamesMcCarthy It doesn't support your original claim at all. It vaguely supports your moved goalposts, only in as much as the point of the paper is to address the craters of the moon, but not because there's anything "weird" about their sizes.

@ZShaman13 @AJamesMcCarthy @MinuteofZombie You've wildly changed your claim, which was this. That the depth to width ratio's - they vary significantly - doesn't match isn't weird at all. We don't have *any* observations from a planetary body of the same age, composition, and environmental factors

@AJamesMcCarthy So strange how all those craters are roughly the same depth... How can that be possible?? 👀 Moon be weirdin' out...

@ZShaman13 @MinuteofZombie @AJamesMcCarthy The paper you quoted doesn't agree with your claim, and points to multiple other studies. Maybe read the papers you try to use instead of posting irrelevant extracts as images.

@AJamesMcCarthy @ZShaman13 @MinuteofZombie It's this paper, and it doesn't argue they're mostly the same depth at all: On the contrary: It points to other studies finding clear differences in crater depth by size, but that *craters degrade by age*

@ZShaman13 @AJamesMcCarthy @MinuteofZombie Have you ever looked at pictures of the Earth from space and considered how flat even our highest mountain ranges look, and how small the difference between, say, the Himalayas (peaks in the 8k meters+ range) and Norway's mountains (tallest peak 2469m) looks. That.

@ZShaman13 @MinuteofZombie @AJamesMcCarthy If you consider a factor of several times to be a "minute" difference, then we have very different definitions of basic English words.

@ZShaman13 @MinuteofZombie @AJamesMcCarthy Maybe don't trust the AI response. E.g. Aristarchus is 2.7km deep (1st pic), Tycho (2nd pic) is 4.7km deep. Street (3rd pic) is 1.5km. For all of these, there are plenty of smaller craters inside them, and around them. (photos from Wikipedia)

@xFaeryPrincessx @ask_aubry The callous take would be that most employers care mostly about the monetary value of an employee and the potential costs of losing them, and retail workers are sadly both cheap and easy to replace.

@realpetesanford It in other words takes less than one month to service the debt, much less if looking only at debt the government doesn't pay to itself. Why are you making up ridiculous claims like this? These numbers are trivial to check.
