I wouldn’t say we shouldn’t use it for weight gain. Cipla-Actin (Cyproheptadine) is both serotonin and histamine antagonist. With serotonin naturally being an appetite suppressant, antagonising serotonin at the appetite center will increase appetite = eating a lot = weight gain.
