@JenniVanos That's exactly why in The Netherlands we are now developing the initiative to express heat with a 1-13 scale similar to UV index. We call it "Hittekracht" translates to "Heat Force" and it is based on WBGT. Collab @Rob_Sluijter @KNMI @DaanenHein @VU_FGB & Werner Hagens @rivm

It was great to present our work on the co-designed pop-up cooling hubs for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness at the Homelessness NSW Conference this week. Extreme heat is deadly, even more so for the most vulnerable. We’re piloting a potentially scalable solution.
