Tom Brady, pulling off the greatest playoff run any QB has ever had. Went past Brees, Went past Rodgers, Stomped out Mahomes...in a pandemic year, with a brand new team, couldn't properly practice, all as a wildcard, all at the ripe age of 43. It's simply unmatched.

Watching Ryan and Wilson gives me even further appreciation for Tom Brady. I've seen so many try to poo poo Brady's longevity / elite level of playing. Like it's the new norm. It isn't. Qbs don't play elite in their 40s. Most fall off before 40. Brady is 1 of 1.

So long to the goat, Tom Brady. He dominated the game like none other. My life from a senior in high school till now (married, father of three) has been filled with memories of his games. My kids got to watch his final ring. But I’ll never forget 28-3.

The 2007 Patriots were a helmet catch away from being the greatest team ever. The next season, all the key parts returned. They lost Brady & missed the playoffs winning 7 fewer games. The difference between almost being a playoff team & being the greatest team ever was Tom Brady

Most QBs today would have spun away from the pressure, scrambled or attempted an off platform throw. Then (if successful) casuals would say its the most amazing play ever. That's why many downplay Brady's career. His game is easy to overlook, unless you know what you are seeing

Brady blew a lead v P. Manning in 06 (not a 2nd year QB) The Pats were on the road, Reche Caldwell was Brady's # 1 wr (Not Tyreek or Kelce). Also, TB12 was already spearheading a dynasty & was 3 for 3 in the SB. Exactly the same as 1 ring Mahomes losing 2 the Bengals. Context.

The Pats had a 20 year run. No other team broke the dynasty. They were either the best or one of the best every year. They played in 9 SBs, and won 6. That's almost 1 appearance ever other year for 20 years. That's the greatest dynasty ever.

Mahomes took a perennial playoff team under Alex smith over the top. Brady took a team that won 5 games the year prior, scored 10 points a game in 01…to the SB. Scoring 25 a game. More “Talented” at what? Not playing qb that’s for sure

This is why Brady to 49ers should happen. It's not just what he can do in the pocket, it's the aura, the belief that any team he goes to will win the SB. The players will buy into it. They revere him. Health permitting, they'd maybe lose 2-3 games next season.

Brady's 28 to 2 INT ratio that season just wasn't good enough. Even though the Pats went 14-2 and were the 1 seed...while the Falcons (With MVP Matt Ryan) were 11-5 & the 2 seed. Weird...Seems like the criteria for MVP flips to whatever bones Brady the most.

2001 Tom Brady was sacked 41 times. In 2001 and 2003 he had 12 combined GW drives & won the SB, his 1st and 3rd years starting. In 02 he led the league in TD's, his 2nd year starting. Calling his 1st years "Game manager" is ignorance. In those days 200 yards and 2 tds was great.
