@IsaacWest______ @KenColossal @FemaleRapLIVE Even if it’s for thinkers, I couldn’t understand 90% of what he was saying, and I listen to my fair share of rap.

@KenColossal @meduse2018 @FemaleRapLIVE This is the case for nearly every superbowl performance. Huge names, with deep catalogs, playing fan favorites, with mass appeal.

@localNERDlbk @CommonSenseTodd @MattWalshBlog They didn’t have to pretend Brad wouldn’t have crushed that girl, to support women’s sports. Women and men aren’t competing. Men don’t have to lose for women to play and win in their own leagues.

@spexagon @DailyMailCeleb Why does a political statement need to be made? How about someone just plays some music that can bring people together for 20 minutes. People need a fucking break from politics.

During the game he posted a message that he instructed the powers that be to end production of the penny. It costs 2¢ to make a 1¢ penny. The mint produced 3.2b pennies last year. Since we lose a penny on each one, that was $32m in waste last year. So during the game alone, even if it cost him $20m to be there, we’re still saving $12m, and then $32m year over year going forward. And that doesn’t count all the other savings like USAID, etc.

I like rap, but I don’t know much of Kendrick’s catalog outside of Not Like Us. The hook on a couple song sounded familiar, but the audio or his vocals in general sounded muddy and I couldn’t understand what he was saying (maybe my TV speakers suck). Existing Kendrick fans probably loved it, but I don’t think he made any new fans tonight, which is too bad. Generally I think the Super Bowl introduces artists to people outside their normal genres to expand their horizons. Lil Wayne would have been a better choice, if they wanted to keep it as a rapper. He is easier for people to understand, has good one-liners that some normies can get, and it was his home town. The enjoyable part was looking for little Easter eggs directed at Drake (the “game over” in the stands, Serena’s appearance, etc), which is again something that would be completely missed by most viewers that weren’t already fans, and isn’t going to add to the experience for the portion of the audience who may have been introduced to Kendrick for the first time. I think Prince’s performance was a master class. He just went out there and played music, half of it wasn’t even his. He crossed genres and had a little something for everyone. He probably gained a lot of new fans, or at least some respect, during that performance.

@LuxFella @davepl1968 You don’t have enough information to make this statement with any credibility.

@moonlithoax She paid those refs good money. The Chiefs sucked so bad they couldn’t even rig it.

@Evol7n @BricksCenter You know the song is about Drake, all these little things are taking more shots at Drake, right?
