Disingenuous framing is one of the things I *really* dislike about the @THORChain community. The circulating supply expansion due to Block Rewards is 10x the supply reduction due to the Burn. To say that $RUNE is currently deflationary is incredibly deceptive.

I (and the @THORChain twitter account) apparently were incorrect about this. The upcoming 60m $rune burn will open space for 20m rune *worth of collateral space* NOT 20m rune to be burned. Loans filling up the 20m space will burn 10m $rune. If Lending gets filled all the way it.
@slamithard @THORChain The 60M burn actually frees up just under 30M $Rune to be bought off the market and burned. At $5.50 that’s $165M in buy pressure. These loans are currently available and burning $rune, there will just space for more of them after the 60M burn in a week or two.
