You and so many others don't know what DEI is. Programs that serve people who are underserved. Research that includes all types of people not just white men. Community projects that provide education and entertainment that reduces crime, reduced or free childcare low income workers, lunch programs for seniors and lowincome children. The list goes on and on. You are being told it's about hiring a certain amount of people of color for some kind of kick back and that is just not true. This is a dog whistle that is working wonders but will result in losing programs we all want and need.
