I dislike this time of year intensely, all the taxes to pay, it’s cold, I turn 46 (FORTY SIX!!) on Friday and I have a cold. Please take pity on me and buy a book or share this link so somebody else can take pity on me

Last night I had a dream that we had a sell out event with Ben Fogle but on the night another writer/mathematician also called Ben Fogle turned up….chaos ensued. I have a cold, I blame the Lemsip.

@emreadsthebooks I know, wrestled with the whole thing for a while now, without Twitter these past few years, I doubt we’d have a bookshop left. I’ve enjoyed my time here and met some fab friends….alas

The bookshop will be closed tomorrow (Thursday 30th January) between 11am and 1pm for a private event. The cafe will be open as usual for delicious food and drinks.
