Halloween 🎃 fun at nursery, our lovely learners have been dressing up as their favourite characters. The children have been exploring their senses through play. Creating Orange 🍊 Playdough using 🍊 cinnamon, cocoa and ginger to make their own unique creations. @Midlothian_STEM

Our lovely learners have been creating potions during our Halloween 🎃 celebrations. They have been learning about chemical reactions, when creating their potions. Mixing bicarbonate of soda, vinegar, washing up liquid and food colouring. @Midlothian_STEM

While on our walk we spoke to the Bonnyrigg Bloomers volunteers who where caring for the flower 🌺 beds in the centre of town. A huge thank you also to Mr Byers (handyman) who kindly donated wooden pegs to our nursery. We are so lucky to have such a kind community on our doorstep

Bonnyrigg’s lovely learners visited our local Community Coffee Shop today. Tricia and Clair kindly prepared fruit 🍎 and salad 🥗 for the children’s snack. A huge thank you to the ladies and we will definitely be returning for another visit. P.s fab coffee, scones & traybakes.

A lovely end to our term with our ‘Goodbye’ assembly. Celebrating the contribution of Mrs Donaldson who retires today and that of other staff moving on to pastures new! Bonnyrigg will miss you all!

Fun day fun, bouncy castle, a magic show and more bubble fun, enjoyed by all the children. End of term fun for all our youngest learners, good luck to the children moving onto primary 1 and see you in August to all our returners. Have a lovely holiday to all our families.

Today the children enjoyed activities at our end of term Fun Day. Face painting, bubble fun, hook the duck, hairdressers and nail decorating. Despite the weather the children were engaged in all outdoor and indoor fun.
